TRANSITIONS

 With the “o​​​​​​​fficial” end of the emergency in 2023, visible transitions are appearing, as we seek normalcy and  predictable patterns in our daily lives. All raw images used for these compositions were taken in the Tregaron Conservancy, 13 acres of protected parkland.  The heart of the Conservancy is the Tregaron Lily Pond, truly an oasis in the middle of the city.  Here, one can rest, re-center, re-integrate and be restored alongside the aquatic plants, bullfrogs, goldfish, ducks and an occasional water snake. In autumn, the pond and gardens around it are blanketed in multicolored fallen leaves signaling transient, yet recurring, beauty.  The towering bare tree limbs, musically reflected in the pond, are also a symbol of strength and endurance.
